Mobilizing Inuit Cultural Heritage (MICH) is a multi-media/multi-platform for the re-engagement of voice in Inuit art, design and performance. The objectives guiding the range of works for this project are three-fold:
- Providing access to information and communication technologies by seeking innovative ways to enable Inuit to be heard by pushing their rich media out to the world;
- Connecting Inuit voice to objects of Cultural Heritage through digitizing artifacts and integrating them into design-based curricula and through the study of stories and traditional craft; and
- Inspire the creation of Inuit cultural capacity through documentary films, video game development and design camps for youth.
